WATER SCARCITY HITS HARDER ON ENUGU PEOPLE AS DRY SEASON SETS IN.

Water scarcity in Enugu state hit higher as residents spend huge in buying water.
Currently, Enugu state residents are paying through their nose in search of water as dry season sets in.
Despite all the promises and assurances by the state governor Mr. Peter mbah, the issue of water scarcity has persisted.
Those living in the rural communities are currently frequenting streams, rivers to get water.
According one Mr. Emeka Okechukwu who narrated the stress and cost of getting water in the state, explained that water  tankers are not helping matters as they see it as opportunity to make more profit as government has shown no attention to the water scarcity.

According to eye witnesses, the incident happened at ugwuonye ama .  However, this is not the first time the particular road is wasting innocent lives but government is yet to respond to the construction of the road thereby becoming a death trap .
