LP Enugu state suspends her state chairman over alleged anti party activities amongst others

The Enugu state labour party has officially suspended the state chairman of the party Dr. Casmir U. Agbo. According to the suspension letter dated 11, February,2025, the chairman was accused of anti party activities, autocratic leadership and insulting the elected political office holders in the party.
However, the suspension was endorsed by the local government chairmen of the party in the state which Hon. Kingsley Ugwu was immediately appointed the acting chairman of the party pending when all inclusive ward, local and state government congresses will be conducted.

However, the suspended chairman had earlier on debunked the suspension calling it a moonlight joke. According to him, the party does not have an elected local government chairman that has constitutional power to remove him.

According to eye witnesses, the incident happened at ugwuonye ama .  However, this is not the first time the particular road is wasting innocent lives but government is yet to respond to the construction of the road thereby becoming a death trap .
