River state set to announce date for local government election

The River state electoral commission has announced it's readiness to conduct the local government election after the recent annulment of the former election by the supreme court.
In a letter dated 04 March, the commission invited all the critical party leaders in the state for meeting which is scheduled to hold on the 5th of March ,2025 .
The date for the new election will be taken and announce after the meeting.
