APC Enugu rejects Peter mbah's move to join the party.

The All Progressives Congress ( APC) Enugu state has made it clear that there is no room for governor of the state in the state. The state chairman of the party in Enugu state Hon Ugoagballa made this known in Enugu state while welcoming decampees into the party when he noted that the party in the state has a more competent candidate who will take Enugu state to the promised land of good governance.

Among the decampees was former Commissioner for Local Government Affairs in Enugu State, Barr Peter Chigozie Okonkwo, who joined from PDP.

Okonkwo, alongside other decampees across the 17 Local Government Areas of the State were received on Saturday during the Expanded APC Stakeholders meeting in Enugu.

Speaking at the event, the APC State chairman, Hon. Ugochukwu Agballah, declared that APC will block the state governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, from joining the party, insisting that APC will defeat PDP in 2027 general elections.

Meanwhile, reading a communique at the end of the meeting, the APC State chairman, Agballah, said the party would no longer tolerate indiscipline, warning that anyone caught indulging in anti-party would be suspended.

He attributed the failure of APC to win political positions in Enugu State to activities of those he described as paid moles, adding that efforts are in the top gear to weed out the moles.

While hinting APC is fully committed to takeover the Lion Building (Enugu’s Government House) in 2027, Agballah disclosed that the party has a competent and capable candidate to takeover from Governor Peter Mbah, who he noted has misgoverned the state
