Enugu state government stops Engr. Jude Asogwa from grabbing a land in Opi.

The Enugu state movement has directed Nsukka Local government chairman,Engr. Jude Asogwa to retract all his steps towards acquiring a piece ofand belonging to the Amankwo people of Ibeku in Opi.
According to the statement issued by the secretary to the state government Prof. Onyia, the state government categorically warned the council boss from taking further steps in forceful acquisition of the land in disguise of using it for a market.

Kindly remember that the local government chairman recently encroached on the land which belongs to the Amankwo people of Ibeku Opi without any due process or prior notice.
However, speculations have it that some politicians from Opi are working closely with the council boss to takeover the land from the rightful owners without any notice.
