A group under the Enugu patriots supports Governor Mbah's move to dump PDP for APC
In a serious political development in Enugu state, a group known as Enugu patriots has begun a move in justifying Gov. Mbah's departure from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to Prof. Martin Anikwe who was part of the meeting convened in Enugu state earlier this week, he noted that Gov. Mbah of today is a political party of his own and wherever he goes, they would follow him.
Another member of the group, Hon. Francis Obasi stated that when a building is sold out, it is advisable that the dwellers in such house look for accomodation else where. According to him, PDP as political party has been sold out and her members are currently looking for shelter somewhere else.
The group encouraged all Enugu state people to join hands and follow the governor wherever he goes so as to to continue his good governance.
However, according to reports gathered by African Voice from APC members in the state, they seem to be unhappy because according to them, if eventually the governor finds his way into the APC, almost all of them will be displaced politically as their principal Hon. Chief Uche Nnaji who has governorship ambition will be forced to drop his ambition. They equally lamented the plot by the PDP members to displace all the members of APC in the state if the governor joins the party.
However, those who recently defected to the APC from labour party seem to be equally at a political red _line as they are currently somehow stranded noting that they could not go back to their former party and would likely not be accomodated in the APC should Peter Mbah joins the party.
African Voice will keep you updated as things unfold concerning the political development in the state.
